Treat Your Hours Like You Treat Your Dollars

Core Action Value 3 in my course on The Twelve Core Action Values is Awareness. When I’m teaching it, I’ll sometimes go around the room and ask participants if they will give me $50. No one ever does.

Then I ask how many of them will give me two days of their time. And of course they are all in the middle of doing just that.

Be just as careful at giving away your hours as you are at giving away your dollars. You will be much happier and more productive.
